How does CrossLoop Work?
Describing the first experience:  If you have never experienced remote control of a computer keyboard, screen and mouse from a distant location then you're in for a real experience.  With CrossLoop you are in complete control of the remote session, will see every move of your mouse and every keystroke on your computer screen.  Most people describe the experience as being "like watching a ghost work on my computer - the mouse is moving around all by itself".

I remember the first time someone remotely controlled my computer back in the 90's when I bought one of the very first editions of PCAnywhere.

I was excited to try it and gave a programmer at work a copy of my PCAnywhere so that he could try it out with me.  I felt quite nervous and worried that he would be able to control my computer and "hack" my information.  It took quite a bit of trust on my part to allow my "friend" to do this, and even though he only had mouse and keyboard control and I could see everything he did, I was nervous and certain that he could see all kinds of files and information on my computer that weren't on the screen at the time.  This is quite natural the first time.  After all, how nervous were you the first time your dentist asked you to trust him enough to open your mouth so he could put a drill to your teeth?  The same goes for remote network support for your computer.  If you expect a good experience then only a reputable professional with high standards of excellence should be trusted to do the job.  Brooksville Computer Network Solutions with over eight years professional experience has been certified in Network Engineering & Data Communications, Cisco Routers, A+ (computer hardware and operating systems) and Network Plus with training and professional experience on Novell and Windows Servers and production networks.

Here's how to download and install CrossLoop:
CLICK HERE to Download the software to your desktop.  You'll see an icon that looks like this one.  Double click to start the installation process.  (After you install you can delete this file at any time.)
Next you choose the language you speak - English comes up automatically, but there are over a dozen choices available.
Now the setup wizard screen shows up.  Click Next.
View the license agreement.  Don't worry, it's free.  Click the "I accept the agreement" button and click Next.
Check the box to create a desktop icon to make it easier for you to find and start the program.  Click Next.
Ready to install.  Click Install.
Installation is now in progress.  Wait for it to complete.
Install is now completed, you may now launch CrossLoop.

Click Finish.
At some time, either now or later during actual connection, depending on your firewall setup, you may get a message asking if you want to allow this connection.

Whether your firewall asks you now during setup or later when you start it up, tell your firewall to allow this program.  It WILL NEVER ask you this question if you are not running CrossLoop yourself.  CrossLoop will not and should not ever try to connect or allow connections of any kind without your presence.  It does not work that way.  Many other remote connection programs do allow anonymous connections - but not LoopBack.  That's why it's called "LoopBack" - You start the session and allow support to loop BACK to you - NOT the other way around!  That's a good thing.
During installation you'll see a box that gives you the choice to create an account for yourself, or to login using the client account I've already set up.  You can do either one.

For simplicities sake I have one ready for you to use, so you can click on LOGIN and type in: bvcclient@gmail.com and I'll supply you with the right password

Now you'll either enter in your own account information that you have set up with CrossLoop.com yourself (that takes a bit of time and extra effort) or you can enter Brooksville Computer's client email address I set up to make it easier for you to connect faster.

After you put in the email address and password Brooksville Computer will give you over the telephone or in an email, click "Login"
Make sure you choose the "Share" tab at the top of the window.

This means you want computer service.  I'll be using the "Access" tab to access your computer to service it.

In the Share area, you'll see an "Access Code" number to give to Brooksville Computer remote technical support over the phone.  Each time you want service, that number will be different.  Without that number nobody can connect to your computer using CrossLoop.  That's one of the things that makes CrossLoop so secure.  It's another good thing.
After you click connect, you'll see the following screen.  It only allows me to make the initial connection for a short period of time, and after that time is up, neither I nor anyone else can connect to your computer until you click on the connect button again.
Here in this window CrossLoop takes a further precaution with a Warning that identifies the party trying to connect to you and asks if you would like to accept the connection.  Notice that Brooksville Computer Network Solutions (bvcns.net) is identifying itself as BVCNSNET.  That's how you can be sure it's me and not somebody else.  That's because there's only ONE bvcnsnet account with CrossLoop.  If you do not see BVCNSNET then simply do not accept the remote connection.  Such a thing could only happen if your phone was tapped, or somebody had hacked  into your email account and either heard or read the secret numbered Access Code you gave me.  This is yet another excellent security measure making CrossLoop even stronger to prevent breaches of your system security - and it makes sure that you're always in complete control of everything!
Once accepted, you'll see this pretty screen go through a few quick connection changes telling you that you're now sharing your screen.  By sharing your screen CrossLoop is telling you that your files are not being shared and cannot be taken or copied to another computer.  Only what happens on your screen is happening on your computer, and your screen will always be in your view.
As soon as the remote session begins, Brooksville Computer Network Solutions will minimize CrossLoop to the system tray (see the red circled item in the picture below) in order for me to see the rest of your screen and work on your computer.  This is a good thing too, because it minimizes where you can easily reach it with your mouse - remember: with CrossLoop installed and running you can take control of your mouse again at any point by moving it yourself just as you always do when you use your computer, and by clicking on the minimized program icon you can choose "Disconnect".  There's nothing safer or more secure!
After you and I are done working on your problem then either of us canl disconnect.  Notice that CrossLoop even counts the minutes and hours that the connection has lasted.  Brooksville Computer Network Solutions, unlike many others in the field, doesn't bill by the hour, but by the job.  Certain jobs can run into snags requiring far more time to finish - such as low RAM which slows things down, or other problems.  You shouldn't have to pay extra because of something like that, so a set fee is usally all that's charged upon successful completion of service.

Now that service is completed, just immediately after you have disconnected there will be two windows that open up from the CrossLoop program asking you for feedback to evaluate Brooksville Computer Network Solutions' services.  These are not internet "popups" but are part of the program and they don't ever pop up again on their own.  Not ever.  They ONLY happen immediately after you complete a remote service session, and they are only there for feedback ratings to help others get good service by ranking registered LoopBack service providers.   It's a quality assurance tool to help others who might need service, and it's a good thing too.
Go ahead and fill them out if you have time.  It's not required.
That's it, you're done, and I can either bill you using your credit card online, via email, or through a mailed invoice so you can pay by mailing me a check.

We can communicate during the session by phone or by typing into an open text window on your screen.  Try it now.  Call 352 232 1678 to describe your computer problems and ask for rates.  There's no charge for the remote connection, and saving gas and time saves you money.
Contact (352) 232-1678 for remote support.
